“I met Krystle at a local education event and she shared all of her amazing stories abroad as a teacher. At the time when I spoke to her, my spirit was shattered after practically finishing my first year teaching and realizing it wasn’t exactly what I thought it would be. I knew I still loved teaching but I was searching for something more to make it all that I wanted for myself. I applied to the Department of the Defense to teach abroad and I never heard back. If I hadn’t met Krystle, I can’t for sure say if I ever would’ve taken the leap again to teach aboard.
